Ask to GS1 your SSCC (Serial shipping Container code) worldwide unique identification and start to create pack and pallet with SSCC unique identifier. Silicon ioi support many counters for pallet/internal/pack SSCC numbering to have distinct numbering per divisions, plants, or warehouses. External SSCC from incoming pack or pallet are supported to avoid relabelling.

Silicon ioi warehouse management with undefined content

For pure logistic activity, pack composition can be undefined. You can have mixed way of doing with undefined and defined pack content. For undefined pack, a virtual item is added with the pack/pallet header to manage transaction prices.

Defined pack with mono item definition

If pack are only composed of same items. Header pack definition will immediately refer to this item. That give you direct and easy way to find pack and help logistic operators in many businesses.

Pack and continuous traceability

Pack and pallets definition support Batch and Serial numbers for a continuous fine traceability. Soonest expiration date for included batches or Serial Nr are recorded in the package header. You can lock a pack with the hold mode and automate redirection warehouse flow to quarantine location.
